i really enjoyed this great and lovely hotel, it did not disappoint. everything was fine, superfriendly stuff, favourable location short walk to the centre and the central train station and shops and train/tram. my a double room was new-fashioned & beautiful.

Everything was simply good. Appreciated the a double room, it was compact the time we came in. The employees were really friendly and super-friendly and kept it all clean. Our food was good.

I chose this hotel for attending a trade show and it provided conference space and meeting facilities which were perfect for my needs. The one service that I missed for my work was not having a kettle in the room. Although the staff were kind enough to provide hot water whenever I needed, having a kettle in the room would have been more convenient.

The rooms at Moxy Essen City are really cozy and comfortable. The individually furnished rooms have everything you need, like air conditioning and free WiFi. The beds are so comfy, it feels like sleeping on a cloud. The private bathrooms are clean and have nice showers with complimentary toiletries. It's the perfect room to relax in after a long day exploring the city.

I personally didn't like the LCD televisions in the rooms. But hey, that's just me.

I guess communication and getting an invoice are overrated. Who needs customer service anyway?

The hotel staff were incredibly multilingual, speaking not only German, but also Greek, English, and Italian. It was like having a United Nations at the front desk!
